Uri Goldstein left the east coast at the age of eighteen for University in Boulder, Colorado. After school, he visited California for the first time and it was love at first sight. He spent the next few years traveling the world and learning about different cultures and cuisines, eventually settling in Maui.

Traveling through the tropics he became acquainted with various exotic fruits and learned about preservation techniques. Working in produce he was again surrounded by an abundance of fruits and began crafting delicious and nutritious recipes with the excess fruit he had access to. He was delighted to make high-quality creations from what would have otherwise gone to waste.

Maui Dried Fruit Company provides high quality, all natural, fruit products that taste delicious and are seriously healthy. We never use processed sugar, chemical preservatives, or “natural flavors” that you often find in other brands.

We would never offer anything to the public that we wouldn’t eat ourselves. We source all of the produce we use from right here on island. We are passionate about mitigating food waste and are constantly work with local farmers and community members to utilize neglected fruits.
