About Us
Kina ‘Ole Sustainable Land Use is a sustainable landscaping company which works with clients designing, building and maintaining ecologically balanced landscapes throughout the Hawaiian Islands. We specialize in organic horticulture and the conscious integration of native plants with edible organic species in useful landscapes.
By honoring nature and the native plants of Hawai’i, Kina ‘Ole has earned a reputation for excellence and trust from our community here in the islands. One of our key designs on client properties are food forest installations that include a variety of native plant species. We focus on feeding the soil and supporting a biologically diverse habitat in each of our projects.
Kina ‘Ole produces edible crops from our nursery in Haiku and Kula, where we gather bounty from our trees and garden beds through natural farming practices. We are blessed to be able to now share our bounty with the Maui community.
