About Us
Pomaika‘i Aina Farm is a small, family-owned oasis rooted on the breathtaking slopes of Kaupo, Maui. Every leaf, herb, and flower is lovingly grown and hand-harvested by our ohana— from our garden to your table. Our commitment to organic, chemical-free practices comes from the heart; as a family living with Celiac disease, we understand the importance of clean, wholesome food that nourishes the body and soul. Each day, we rise with the sun to freshly pick what the land graciously offers, ensuring every harvest is filled with purity, vitality, and aloha. When you choose Pomaika‘i Aina Farm, you’re not just supporting local — you’re joining a movement of mindful living, health, and harmony with the aina.
Practices
At Pōmaika‘i Āina Farm, our farming practices are rooted in respect for the land and guided by the natural cycles of life. While we are not certified organic, we proudly farm beyond organic standards — using holistic, chemical-free, and regenerative methods that protect the health of our ʻohana, our community, and the ʻāina. We nourish our soil with compost, mulch, and natural amendments, allowing the earth to thrive as it was intended. Every crop is hand-tended and harvested with intention, free from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Instead, we rely on nature’s balance — beneficial insects, companion planting, and the wisdom of traditional farming — to create abundance. Our mission is simple: to grow clean, wholesome food that honors both the land and the life it sustains.
