Hello, my name is Tasha, and I was born and raised on the island of Maui. I am a proud mother of one and the founder of Love and Heart Maui, established in 2017 with the mission of supporting mothers on their breastfeeding journey.
My inspiration for creating this business came from my own personal experience. When my son was just three months old, he underwent open heart surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. The stress of that period caused my milk supply to diminish almost overnight. Determined to continue breastfeeding, I began researching herbs and foods that could help restore and nourish my milk supply. Through trial, error, and persistence, I found what worked—and my supply began to return. That experience ignited a deep desire to help other mothers facing similar challenges.
Upon returning home to Maui, I began perfecting recipes for lactation-supportive products, starting with cookies, brownies, and energy bars. Over time, I expanded the line to include dry mixes and powders, offering mothers more flexible options.
By the grace of God, Love and Heart Maui has been able to support and empower mothers not only locally but across the United States since 2017.
