Mother Mushrooms is a vertically integrated functional and gourmet mushroom farm in Olinda, Maui. Founded by Maui native Richard Tubman and mycologist Charles Tresidder, Mother grow Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Black Pearl Oyster, Blue Oyster and Reishi mushrooms, with limited seasonal offerings throughout the year. All of our genetics, mushroom spawn and substrate are developed right here on the island in our lab, allowing Mother to provide jobs for the people of Maui and delicious mushrooms for our island ohana and the many visitors to the Valley Isle.

Each of our mushroom blocks, once harvested, are donated as regenerative soil for local farms. To date, we have given over 10,000 pounds of nutrient dense soil away to local farms.
